I’ve been doing some reading about this. Last year when I had this thing installed, my first ride out, I found the adjustment a little loose and the sled was pulling at idle. If I used throttle it would go but then not gear down enough to slow the engine to an idle.....if that makes any sense. I loosened the adjuster but and tightened the adjuster until I didn’t get that creeping, tightened the nut and I was good for the last several months of the season.
Now after reading about others that have used this cover, some have said the adjuster isn’t needed. What!!!! Clearly I don’t understand. Anyone care to explain why it isn’t needed or explain what I had going on and thought the adjuster cleared my issue?
