Edge chassis motor swap?

Has anyone ever considered swapping a Yamaha 4 stroke into a edge chassis with a turbo? I thought it would be cool and different but do not know what problems I would run into. I would assume if I could get all electrical,primary, motor,etc that it maybe doable.
Just seeing if anyone has considered it. Or is there another option that maybe better to get good power with reliability.

Check the yami section, someones putting a turbo nytro engine into an IQR.

As far as the edge...I don't see much gain. It wouldn't be much lighter than a nytro after the swap, so unless you're in love with edges it could be a lot of work for not much. It would be unique and if you like wrenching as much as riding it'd be a nice project.

Not sure why you would want that. You need more power, build a W/C 1200 or throw a turbo on an 800.

Would be a challenge.

True it wouldn't be light weight but could be fun. Wrenching is not a problem at all for me. I think it could be fun but maybe more work than it's worth.
