My wife's Indy touring 488 had a bad pickup line. I didn't measure the old on and threw it away. How long does it need to be?

What kind of clips are used to attach the screen? Looks like the need to be crimped on?

I was planning on using my 1/4 Pro motion clear fuel line. I assume that is ok for in tanks? I know you should change these out every couple years anyways.

I think the clips you are referring to are spring steel and not crimped on. They are tough but can be reused. The pickup line should be long enough to reach the back corners of the tank where the weighted filter will migrate if that is the corner that is down. I use some pasty pipe dope on those threaded fittings where the bung goes through the plastic tank.

Hose should work until it doesn't.
