BRTech is no longer in business. Mountain Fit Hoods is working on one right now.

Question though...

The stocker only weights in the neighborhood of 7 lbs doesnt it? What could you hope to lose for X amount of dollars??

what i am looking for is a 1 piece hood and then a headlight delete with a new gauge pod. I did hear from mountain fit and they may be the route i will end up going but would like something similar to what the race dept has on the snocross mods. I just am waiting on the hood then i will buy the rest of the plastic to convert my MOD xp800 to the XM plastic.

Hood assembly is about 17 lbs....i would LOVE a Diamond S top hood with a simple pod for stock gauge and a small LED headlight. Should be an easy 10+ savings and get rid of some of that heat!

C3 just finished their hood for the xm and I believe it only weighs 6 pounds will accept stock gauge cluster, a heated glove box, and a location for the air box tube to plug into.

Don't remember the exact savings, but it's around 13 lbs I want to say, the hood itself is feather light, but really rigid.

Also, unlike other hoods I've seen it lowers the hood height itself, which was a big factor for me.
