I bought a 2011 pro rmk with 225 miles on it from a guy that bought it and just rode it. I've upgraded about 9 years and know nothing about these motors. Is there anything I need to know as far as recalls, updates, warranty issues that I need to take care of before the snow starts flying. And any tips to do besides regular maintenance to make it run at its peak. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I believe you can update the injectors to the 2012, which seems to make things run a lot smother.

The best update you'll have is your face muscles being sore from smiling ear to ear all day long!

They changed the mounting bosses on the 12s for the injectors. (Different supplier) 11s & 12s don't interchange.
If you have problems you can change the injectors but 12s no worky on 11s.

I agree with Suitcase. Do some facial exercises so the permagrin doesnt hurt so much.

there is a recall to move the oil injection line away from the bulkhead...

Motor mounts.

Update kit available but on back order.

If you are like me, a big guy that likes to fly, upgrade the springs. Nothing worse than bottoming out.

What is the problem with the motor mounts? And what are the upgraded ones?

Yes they are the 12's came with the "new" motor mounts.
