As said above sled from Cat booth at Haydays. I would ditch the grey for black and it would be an amazing looking machine!

Come on guys, if you checked one of these things, you know you're essentially riding a concept sled that's like nothing like it on the snow. You KNOW you want to tell people all about it. The best way to start that conversation is have a snowmobile that looks like prince. That's just science.

The green/black 2018 mtn cat is the best looking sled cat has produced in a long time imo. Whoever designed that one should take over for the guy who came up with the color and designs for 19. Nice job on the hardcore though!

Hate purple. Hate it. Still stoked to own/ride this sled. I won’t wrap it or change it up either. Just don’t care that much about color to go the expense of making it orange. I love cat orange too.

I’d give anything for cat to bring back the all orange King Cat 2-stroke of 2004.

I like purple and green, but not the way they did it.

The 2018 Mountain Cats were beautiful.

I REALLY dig the 2019 Sno pros. I really like how the panels are plain jane but the hoods are wrapped. Gonna see how 2019 goes but may sell my 850 Poo this spring and try to get a smokin deal on a 2019 Sno Pro or Hardcore from Cuntry Cat to try for 2020. Might be hard to go backwards in displacement though... Hoping Cat steps up and goes larger next year, another 20hp would be neat.

Take it for what its worth because i have not rode either one of them but from what i've read so far there is very little to no difference in seat of the pants fell of power output between the two regardless of what the dyno says

Either way it would be nice to see a larger motor. Its bound to happen, hopefully will be soon.

Larger Engine Displacement Maybe

I believe AC will go with a boost controlled turbo before they jump up 50cc. My personal opinion is the sleds now are so good they don't really need more power. I know everyone wants more and will jump ship for 40 or 50 cc. I like what the Alpha delivers better handling, better traction, improved drive train efficiency( I read 5 hp on a track dyno),less dry weight and way less in snow weight. I know they have tested larger displacement C-Tec engines during the 800 development. So 40-60cc should be an easy jump and they may do just that. AC has been third in a three sled race for a few years, but not so much now. AC wants to be known as a leader not a follower, hence the Alpha. They have been financially restricted in the past, now they have an opportunity to advance products stay within a budget and plan for future years. It is just the beginning from AC. They are due for a chassis update soon, I expect something similar to the Ascender (cause it works) with a weight reduction and more improvements.

EDIT
Dang I forgot which thread I was in, oh well. I like purple more so plum crazy in limited amounts.

id prefer to see them shave weight off the block of their 600. I can cause enough avys with the 800 power.

Yes! This sled for 2020 in an acsender chassis! Actually I didn’t like the orange when it was first announced, ended up buying one and it’s been one of my favorite sleds in the last 20 years. The purple is really growing on me. Ended up ordering a purple wrap
