Ladies, I'd like to take a moment and (re)introduce FXR Racing. I had looked into their gear about 4 years ago and haven't looked back, myself, until this fall when I was able to put my hands on their gear at the shows. My head was turned! (stating the obvious?) And what I've learned in the past few days is I am not alone! The emails I've gotten ("holy crap what a selection, I had no idea" for example) tells me it is time to give them a re-introduction!

They have a variety in all of their lines of clothing and gear that I'm pretty sure is unrivaled. It is almost overwhelming! For today, let's look at their layer wear. Since I’ve had this conversation with several people lately from both extremes, from me being an over heater to Sherri love who is freezing. I think over all, if you run chilly, they have more great options for you!

I originally started with this layer, thinking “less merino” the better and I liked the compression idea. However I found it too warm, even as a solo base for hard riding days and for my body temps.

This layer I wore this past weekend and I think it will end up being my base layer of choice. It was 29*, sunny, but we really didn’t ride hard and I had insulated pants on (with no bottom base layer) and I was pretty comfortable. Thinking that I will get away with this 99% of the time with no other layering needed!

This layer says it is a good mid weight layer, but I’m thinking this might be a good start/base for someone like Sherri.

Or this one, this one I’ve worn casually and it is so comfy, soft against my skin and very warm.

I have these as my to and from the sno park and kickin' around pants. VERY warm and cute. If you just flat out freeze while riding, these might be an option for you. Otherwise, I'd say casual.

Anyhow, if you have any questions, let's hear them. If you are ever around me and want to try stuff on, ask!

That was a nice write up on FXR's gear. I am an FXR junkie. I enjoy all their gear and have not regretted going to them. When it comes down to it Polaris owns KLIM and they own FXR so when you think about it, you have a choice of banana republic or old navy with FXR gear :)
