thread on the crank?

itook my 01880 out for the first time and my clutch fell off the sled and thebolt wentflying. will the threads in the crank be messed up?if so can they be retapped?

The threads will probably need a touch up. Use a really sharp 1/2" fine thread tap and plenty of lube and take it a little at a time. When it starts to turn hard back it clear out and blow the chips out and take another go. The threads will be almost as hard as the tap. You don't want to break the tap off in there, it takes a lot of work to get one out. I still remember the time I did it years ago. Wore out one Dremel tool and a carbide cutter and about two days worth of time.
