I have a 1998 Skidoo Summit X 670 that i was just getting ready for the season, and when i went to start it, it would fire up just for a second, then completely die. I put a spark tester on it and it will only spark once, then no spark at all until you pull it over again. I have checked all the connections and tomorrow i am going to test the stator. Any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance.

Bad fuel can make bad spark plugs.

Try to change the condenser. Also Red-eye is right about the fuel. Regular summit and X parts can be different especially the electronics. Check your part numbers when swapping them out.

I have seen resistor spark plug caps go also.

Ive tried new plugs, but ill have to take a look at the plug wire ends, anyone know of a good place to find replacement parts?
