Bought a '99 PS 600 EFI. With, the guy gave me a D&D "HOT SHOT" chip... What does it do? Should I install for any gains? Does it need to be used with a pipe? What is it for??? Appreciate any help, Thanks..:beer;:beer;
I'd call D&D Racing (www.ddracing.com) and ask them. The older EFIs (like the '99 PS) could be modified by replacing the chip in the computer. However, each manufacturer of the chips had them programmed to their specs and only someone familiar with how they werre programmed could tell you how they need to be configured.
