can i put a 01 440 snow pro motor in a 98 zr 600 chassis will the wiring harneses plug in and work or will have to modify something any help would be great thanks

The motor will go right in, I just put a 600 BB in my 01 440 SnoPro. The mounts r the same. I think the wiring should work also because I didnt have to change anything on mine, but cant be 100% sure. The hardest part was mounting the exhaust system. Good Luck!

was it a 01 chassis or was it the 98 chassis??
I put an A case 600 BB in my 01 440 SnoPro chassis. The A case motor was used in the 98 and 99 model sleds.

PS Im in Italy for another week and 1/2 or I'd check to see if there were any differences in the wiring.

It will work, only difference was one has a servo motor for your power valves, so i think the brain is a little different in the wiring, unless you have the power valves that run off exhaust on your motor, other then that get the wiring harness for the 440, but if it is not power valved then it should all work.
