Just finished racing my 2018 Highcountry 153 on the Cains Quest endurance race in Labrador Canada. Ran a 1.6 Camso Ice cobra with 2.86 pitch 9 tooth drivers.... that track was made for that race. But riding backcountry and the trees is my passion.

2 questions:

First, will a 2.8 track fit in a non drop case with 9tooth drivers?

Because I'm running 2.86 pitch drivers, I was thinking the 2.8 coquer might be the best option left other that a 3 pitch PC. Any more feedback for the 2.8 on the PC/ assender chassis?

Your drivers are likely about 0.3" closer to the exchanger. 3" PC is very tight with 8 tooth drivers on the old case.

Is the 2.8" measured from inside the belt, or is it real lug height? Either way, it would be somewhere between incredibly tight and won't fit at all.

A 2.6 Polaris track might work with those drivers.

I'd recommend 3" drivers and PC track to suit your typical snow.

I can give you a pretty thorough review of it but Conquers are 3" pitch track so youll still need different drivers.

Challenger 2.5 would be a good all around track that would fit on those drivers. 9104m, they are like $630 new.

If I recall right, I had 5/8'' clearance between the 2.8 and heat exchanger with 8 tooth drivers on a 15' M8.

Thanks for the input guys.

Think I might just sell my race sled and go with an mc or alpha 1 noe anyways.
