I started using mine over 20 years ago. At that time I was stationed at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The towners, as we called them, call the military guys "Basers". Well I started roadracing my 1993 ZX-7 and some pillhead start referring to me as "Richie road baser". So I changed it "Richracer1" when I opened up a Yahoo email addy and have used/still use it on several forums.

I've been through all 4 brands since I started riding. Changed way too many email addresses throughout lol. The most relevant thing was to use something that went with me no matter what I was riding/racing. And it's easier for people to recognize me by because I'm not near famous enough in the industry to be called by name hahaha :face-icon-small-sad
