Especially if you're running a turbo (which is why I posted this here).

Besides causing performance issues...

An old exhaust donut breaks apart, and you'll end up with little bits of exhaust donut coming out of your compressor housing. :face-icon-small-dis

It's a good idea to check your exhaust donuts and springs. I just replaced mine and used copper high temp rtv silicone to seal it up. But little chunks of the gasket wont go out the compressor housing. They will go through your turbine wheel and out your downpipe. A big enough chunk could damage your turbine wheel though.

I have found my donut for my main pipe to my turbo wears out quick, the part wasn't welded as good as it needed to be either so it has 1 spot it wears on the worst.

For me it's easy to know when it's starting to leak as I'll get all that oil residue blowing out through it.
