Hey everyone, I posted this in the communications section as well and my apologies if I've missed the answer around here somewhere, but I'm trying to find out why we can't get this north of the border. All the answers I get are opinion and I'm looking for some fact. The general consensus is that it may have something to do with the 2-way radio feature...

Thanks

Canadian law allows radios to be a max of 3 watts output.
American law allows up to 5watts.

If you want a cool 5 watt'r you are going to have to go to The USA to get your hands on the hi powered garmin.
