I have 04 sum 800 151.I can not stop my y pipe bolts from coming out. I use red locktite and still come out any suggestions on how to keep them from backing out.
Your old bolts probally are chewed up from working out. The new bolts from brp come with locktite on them.First clean out the holes with carb cleaner so the new locktite can get a clean grip. Hope that helps. Terry
nordlocks seem to do the trick, its a specialty 'lock washer' that looks like a sprocket or a ninja star! they're designed to tighten as they vibrate, the jagged little teeth are directional so they won't back out......I had the same prob on my 04 800
