Go 8 PSI.

What is 105 AV?

the supplier i buy my av fuel says 100 is min octane rating for avaition purpose, thier stuff ranges from 104-105, they seek out the best because the owner is a high performance jet boat owner, and uses it in his boat. cost me 1.71$/ liter cdn
i changed out my head today, will test it next weekend, will post findings

I rode 40 mountain miles today , 7-8 psi 75/25 100ll/91 from 3300-6100 on stock ho head and no issues, no real bottom end gains, bogging at bottom end gone, I'm gonna try 50/50 tomorrow, it seems the top end is stronger though.

So, I just flew back from Russia and went sledding today. I had no time to to and get AV gas so I mixed my last jerry can of AV with premium, 50/50. I knocked my boost down to 8 psi and this sled has never been so responsive through the entire rpm range. Still plenty of power on the top end, bottom end and out of the hole was very very smooth and crisp. Im back to mixing fuel again! Lol

Are you running heavy tip weights?

Myuseddoo if you know someone with a timing module you should throw that in and try a couple more psi. I would love to hear your opinion of that setup. I sure like it!

I have a timing module, I don't want to use it. I will run up to 10 psi on 50/50 av premium, tomorrow. I will report back on that.

I am now running 5psi @ 2000ft with stoch head and timing key.2012 HCR with boondocker kitt. Tried to bump it opp to 6psi but would get 8400rpm. Need to clutch it. Running norwegian pump gass ( think it compares to your 93 or something)
Afr is 12. With leaner AF i would hit det sensor.
My plugs have never come loose
How sensitiv is the det sensor. Could you get deto without the det sensor going of?

I'm not sure about the accuracy of the det sensor, so I can't comment on that but I do know that the HO engines, as compared to the 09 and previous engines with an HO head installed, are more prone to detonation.

I have a 2010 pg with the lower compression head, it works great at 7pounds with 91. I am getting a 2011 pg with intercooler built right now and the shop is using the stock head. I hope it gives it a little more snap off the bottom. I don't ride under 9000ft, so I think I'm pretty safe. I think I might stick at 7 pounds, but would like to go higher with 91 (maybe go with 25% 112 race gas).

To late, I already ordered it. I figured if I upgrade to a rg I would already have it. I went back and forth about the advantages and disadvantages (besides cost). I decided if it didn't hurt performance, and kept charge temps down, plus the possible upgrade to rg, I decided to do it. If I feel it hurts performance, I gues I'll just take it off.

did testing all weekend on the Proclimb. Running HO head on straight AV at 5-7K feet on 10-12 LBS no problems. Last day ran outta AV, had maybe 1/4 tank AV rest 91 was fine on 8-10 at same elevation. But mostly just kept it at 8. Love the response of the HO head and aint gunna change it.

On a side note when I got the kit I ordered a Linderman cut head from dealer...They took longer than expected but have been here for awhile..Loving the HO head but dont really want to fork out the cash to buy the cut head and keep my HO head too (made deal with trade in HO head) Is my bottom end going to suffer that much more on the cut head??? Or will I not mind it and can push the boost to 12LBS or more now with cut head and not notice??
