BDE Bumper Kit on 1M Chassis

I really want to do one of these on the old King. Anyone have any pics or any experience puting one on (the 1M)? I have read all of the posts and am curious if the kit for the 1M chassis had any of the same issues as the new chassis.

You have the problem of the tunnel width differences(M's 15.5"/1M's 16.75") and you would need a end cap of some sort to close the end of the tunnel and make a mounting place for the snow flap.

With a little fab work, I'm sure you could make it work.

They show a kit in the SLP catalog for the 1M Chassis.....pretty sure, I'll go look again and post back.

I ordered the kit for the King chassis from SLP since they had a different part # and I assumed they accounted for the wider tunnel. The picture in the SLP catalog does look exactly the same as the BDX kit. SLP also shows a two wheel kit for the same 19.95 as BDX that looks the same so I am guessing they licensed the rights.

The kit is backordered so I won't be able to post pics or any install information for awhile but will gladly do so when I get the kit and install it.

It will be a couple of weeks yet, we were not making any for the 1M or KK and the demand was so high we decided to. Per someone elses statement there is a definite tunnel width difference therefore we can not use the M bumpers so we had to make new ones they are getting bent up as we speak. We have a KK that we are putting one on for a customer, I will post pics when done.

I guess SLP did not license them from BDX then.

Just went over to a buddy's place the other day and seen the bdx kit on his and it looks pretty good, it really cleans up the stock tunnel. I'm pretty sure that this is the customer that Mike is talking about. Can't wait to get one on mine. I will see if we can get some pictures uploaded.

haha yeah I hear ya on the new sled situation, but its hard to get rid of the ole 1M/King chassis. Yeah I will talk to my buddy and see if I can get some pics this weekend and email them to you, it really cleans the sled up, I will be putting one on mine soon as well
