I ordered a usb charger for my phone from RSI that is a plug and play that plugs into the accessory plug under the headlight. The instructions came with a 10 amp fuse to replace the oem 2amp fuse. Rumor is to not mess with the fuse can anyone verify this?

It is highly recommended you Do NOT change the fuse to a higher value. Try it with the 2A fuse and see if it works. Or calculate what amperage draw it will have and see if the 2A will be enough.

Never increase the amperage of a fuse unless you want to see damage to wiring and other more expensive components. I would not trust any manufacturer that made such a suggestion!

There is no wiring under the hood of my pro that would take 10 amps. I definitely would not do it, not to mention pretty much anything you would plug into a usb port will be measured in milliamps not amps anyway.
