Hey, installing a big bore in a buddies 2013 pro rmk. Noticed the driveshaft on the pto side is worn down. Anyone else ever have this issue, and will a shaft out of 11/12 fit in place of the 13 shaft? Thanks

You can run a 2010 RUSH, 2011/12 pro or 2011-2015 Standard RMK...All the same shafts.

You will need new drivers for that as the shape is different .

Also, you can use a shaft from a 2005 900RMK (but not the 2006) and will, again, need new drivers for the shaft.

Pretty common on the '13's. IMO it all boils down to QC / tolerance control from whoever makes the parts for the shafts. The bearing should be a press fit and a lot of the '13 shafts were not. Same issue with the QD side being too loose for the glue to hold it together, That piece should be a press fit also before the glue is injected, but the ones that have failed were not a press fit to start with.

The '11-'12 steel hydro formed shaft will fit / work with the QD, but the QD style shaft will not work in the chain case models. IMO they have resolved the tolerance issue and the newer shafts are fine, collared or not.
