I picked up a 05 600ho SDI Renegade this summer and the tachometer is not working. Everything else works on the sled. I have replaced the relay and there was no change. The tachometer lights up but that is all. I pulled the tach off the sled and put it into my wife's sled and the tach worked on that one. I have cleaned all the wire connections, I tried a different voltage regulator. I'm thinking that the sled is not generating the RPM signal. Does anyone know where the rpm signal is generated? Do I have a stator or trigger coil issue? I have posted this on dootalk and I have not got any real responses. Thanks for any help.
