I Have a question on 07 Ski Doo Summit X 800r 144

I want some input on a 07 ski doo summit x 800 144. I am looking to buy me my first moutain sled and i have found that sled and it 1370 miles on and is good condition. It says it has all the recalls done to it, chaincase, and so on. But the engine he said has been untouched. I would like to know if you know about some of the recalls and would appreciate some input! Thank you

Check the runout on the crank with a dial indicator. Also check the compression. The 07's were known for losing compression and having bad cranks. If your runout is good and the compression is okay you should be good to go. Dont expect to get more than 2500-3000 miles out of that top end if it is still the original 07 parts. The clutches are crap in my opinion on all 2007 and up ski doos. Put either a 4-pro or polaris primary on there and it will rip.
