I am getting ready to swap out my 151" challenger crap lite track. I am just wondering what way would be better to go? I can get a used 08 154" powder max track and swap out drivers or i can go with a new camoplast New Style challenger (151x16x2.31) and not change the drivers. Has anyone did this or what would your opinion be. I have lost about 9 paddles so far on the challenger lite, so it needs to go. Thanks

I would do the challenger 2.3 with stock drivers. Less trouble, less $$ and same basic track without the holes.

Either way it will be much better. As Brew says they are basically the same track. Might as well save some money and use stock drivers.

Are the c-lite tracks really that bad? I am from Northern WI and do alot of off trail in the UP where there can be 2-3 feet of fresh pow any given week. I do plan on heading out west as well and looking at getting a Summit with a 151" track. Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, but it's pretty similar topic!

Yes, the Lite is terrible. Just changing the track makes it a different and much improved sled in anything but hardpack.

I carved a pound and half of rubber off mine last season and it seemed to work good. Took the support ribs off the back of the paddles to let them lay over a bit more. Made some nice climbs with it in soft and hard conditions. Plus i maintained the lug depth.

Just thowin it out there.
