We parked at the 3rd lot by the Blue lake Y to find another mile of bare road past that. We reloaded the sleds and drove up to the 2nd corner and unloaded and still had to ride some bare gravel. Good going up to the bridge and thats when it gets ugly. I heard the groomer headed South to help Donald build the wall so I guess its ok. Anyhow, Huge icy whoops the rest of the way. We started late in the day to let the sun warm up the hard pack. Lots of tracks everywhere, maybe 2" of spring like snow on top of hard pack. Its worth going but go late or it will be super ugly. Thanks Glacier cruisers for the cool transceiver testing station located half way up the road. It was my first time using the station, I usually fly past it.
