If some one has a fresh take on what mapping or clutching changes i might try.

2008 M1000
162 2.6 power claw
slp pipe, slp Y Pipe Slp Can
Slp High flow intake
Mtx 71 gram with full rivets up to 77 grams
light blue pink primary spring
black gray secondary spring
46-36 helix hard brown rollers
046 belt
6500-9500 ride elevation
PCV with an abortion of many mapps...(HELP)

just added the power claw and slp high flow and mtx weights.

pulls 7400-7500 max rpm
at 7500 it now stutters quite a bit i assume its slp high flow leaning me out too much .. but i believe i need 7600 7800 rpm to be efficient.

Thoughts.. Thanks

That set up likes 7550 to 7650 to pull the best, so you are not that far off on rpm. I'm not crazy about a helix with that much spread, but maybe it will work at that elevation. I would say if it is stuttering, it's probably rich. Check your plugs and wash. Check your fuel pressure, and then call racinstation and have him build you a map based on your set up and fuel pressure. His map worked pretty well for me, but I did have to tweek it a fair amount. Fuel pressure plays a big part.

could adding slp high flow actaully make it richer on the top end ???? and as far as helix spread what would be more logical

Mines full SLP with Rkteck head, stock intake with 09 upgrade works great. Stock clutching other than Cutler adjustables. Running just shy of 84 grms. Boondocker box. Runs clean and rips. Oh, both new clutches.

No the SLP intake won't make it rich. Check all the obvious, power valves & cable adjustment, plugs, wires, exhaust temp sensor, water in fuel. I like the stock secondary at 8-10,000 or a 38 Helix and cutler adjustable weights.
