My brother lost his a couple weeks ago. Props to the dealer and Arctic cat for getting it fixed, but I was just wondering if it has happened to anyone else? Stock sled, rkt clutching. Clutch was laying in the belly pan, almost thought he had a green polaris for a minute.....

Haven't had any problems on the 2008 sled. The 2007 was, however a problem. Most guys were running offset weights which would then imbalance the clutch and it would snap right on the edge of the clutch sheave and do just like your saying, drop the clutch in the belly pan. On 2007 models, balance the weights. On 2008s you have no choice, 3 weight clutch better be balanced.

This seems to be an isolated problem. I ride with mostly arctic cats, am friends with the dealer and have only heard of these two locally. I wouldn't loose any sleep over it. I am just curious what other people are seeing.
