So turning the factory clickers down to say 2 increases or decreases primary clamping force??
Learning here , thankyou

Clicker down does increase the clamping force of the Primary, but not necessarily enough to lower Belt Slip. The Belt Clamp vs Bel Slip is a function of both Primary and Secondary clutches.

while testing my 921 last weekend we saw first hand the rpm gains/lost and belt clamp gained and lost by simply playing from click 2-3-4...

best combo was my SHR968A weights (MXZ) with an extra 5 grams added/stock spring and a 15 gram cross bolt on clicker 4/SHR helix, spring......

base combo was the SHR967A at 3 grams per and click 3/SHR helix, spring but the low end revvyness was to much for the TQ of the BB...

the SHR/MPI850 turbo LOVED the SHR967A at 51 grams/click 3/stock spring/SHR helix, spring...

MINIMAL turbo lag/instant RPM and track speed and "quicker" throttle response from part throttle...

EVERY turbo 850 needs these:face-icon-small-win

conditions- 9600', 55 degrees, mashed potatoes...BJ :face-icon-small-coo

this is true but clicking down 1 will show less RPM at shift out (roughly 6 grams heavier) clicking up 1 will feel better but will over rev at shift (roughly 6 grams lighter)...

the 967/951 weight is ok on click 2 and 3...

the 968 weight ok on click 3 and 4...BJ

Yep you bet, I was refering to overshoot of max rpm. Clickers still kinda work the same as the tra, just not as much max rpm change.

Im stoked for your BB on the 850. Good work, im glad to see it on the snow.
