Complete Gauge delete?

Say you wanted to totally remove the gauges. Will the machine still operate properly? Will you lose functions like handwarmer controls and headlight controls and can these be worked around?

I can't say for sure with the XP, especially Ptec, but my 13' etec XM retains full functionality with no gauge. I smashed up the gauge holder one day, and it was falling out, so I put the gauge in my backpack and rode the rest of the day.

Yes I used o8 xp motor on my build without the gauge. Works fine
