05 m7 belt vs 07 m8 belt

:nono:????? what is the difference in an 05m7 belt & 07m8 belt, im carrying it as a spare for now. would like to know the differences in the belts and affects on the sled :noidea: m8 belt would be going onto the m7 as the spare

the m7 belt(036 I think?, it's been a while) is designed for the 10" secondary, and the 8m is a 10.4" secondary. They're not very interchangeable I'd think.

They are a different length and width. The 036 is a stiff compound belt and the 044 is a sticky compound

x2 on different length. You can actually bolt a 10.4" secondary on your m7 and run the m8/m1000 belts.

^^ Which many of us have done and recommend. Adds a little bottom end grunt.
