Bought a carryover '18 800, read the manual...it states to premix the first tank. I thought the '18's had the oil pump increase so you don't have to. Don't want to double the oil. Which is it? Thanks.

I have a 19 800. Didn’t pre mix per dealers recommendations. Bought the shop manual for it and it states that break in on the 800’s is 18 hours. Took me over 300 miles to get out of break in. Haven’t scoped or compression tested anything yet but will soon and report back. Sled runs really well. Not regretting waiting on an 850 at this point lol

I know at about 4 hours.. my 18 really woke up. At about 10 hrs now. See how it runs after next week's trip. Probably have to add some weight to it. Running full slp pipe

Got about 30 mins left for break in. I’ve heard there is a big difference after engine hours reach 18.

What kind of rpm’s/speed are u guys seeing right now when pinned?

Thats where im at also but havent seen speed over 66mph.. not that i care about top speed cuz 66 is plenty fast but it seems like it should be faster.. could be minor adjustment in deflection but rpms wouldnt be up there if it was off by much.
