Got a sled in my shop. The dead man magnets went bad and the guy limped it out... in the process it backfired a bunch. Apparently one of those backfires blue the PTO side plug/seal out of the end of the counter balance spot on the end of the case.
Question is, can that seal/plug be replaced without splitting the cases? I have the service manual, it says to replace while the cases are apart. Anyone ever had any luck poking on in with the cases still assembled?
