Put a new top end on a friends sons sled, ran good for a few minutes then flooded out, went through the VM 40 carbs a second time to make sure the needle valves were shutting fuel off and they were, put back together and the pto carb is still dumping gas in the crank case and filling it up to where the pipe has a bunch of gas in it.
Am figuring the DPM manifold is sticking and would like to dissconnect it and plug the signal lines and vent the carbs to the air box.Am I on the right trail here? Any cure for a sticking DPM solenoid? Carbs have 280 mains, am guessing 45 pilots.
Can anyone steer me toward bypassing the DPM and the correct jetting for 8k foot?
Thanx-Jay

We ended up figuring out the problem, the atmospheric hose was hooked back into the DPM manifold by the previous owner when he tore the topend down and threw it in a box. The hose is supposed to just hang there.Sled runs great.
