1. Clean the clutches
2. Grease EVERYTHING
3. Check Driveshaft Bearings
4. Check Track tension
5. Change Chaincase Oil
6. Check Tension on the Chaincase chain (haven't busted into the nytro's chaincase yet so I don't know if it has an automatic tension mechanism)
7. Change the motor oil.
8. Check Coolant Level.
9. Change spark plugs (optional-probably every other season on 4 strokes)
10. Check Cylinder compression
11. Check your Hifax for wear, I haven't witnessed it but I hear it's a big concern on the nytro.

That's what I usually do but I love the thread Idea, keep the lists coming.

Jack the front of the sled up, and check for wear/slop in the ball joints, tie rods, A arm bushings, spindle bushings.
Check ski wear bars and ski condition while your there.

Loosen the track and check boggie wheels/bearings, they should spin nice and free with no roughness or noise. For the rear axle wheels, it's usually easier to pull the wheel, or skid out.
When re-adjusting the track tension, don't forget to check the track alignment. I usually put the sled on a track stand, then spin it up to about 15-20 mph and then let it coast to a stop. The track drive lugs should have the same distance to the rail on each side.

Put new batteries in the beacons, test them, and take an avy refresher course.

I agree with everything except the above. It is a yamaha, it is all junk there, and ignorance is bliss and cheaper on the wallet. ha ha
