Anyone have any tips for installing fox air track shocks on a gen4? Do I need to pull the skid? Or can I just let the air out and squeeze them in there? Any tried? Should I use my lift or put it on its side? Or do I need to pull the skid?

I've done it both ways and its easier with skid out
The center shock comes out pretty easily with the skid in. Just need the track off the ground so you can push up on the shock to take off some of the tension to get the mounting bolts out. Same going back in, just push up under the track and you'll get it. I'd have the new Fox shock with as little pressure as possible. I suppose a ratchet strap might be helpful as well.
