Clutch bolt spec’s

I’m having trouble finding the spec’s for the primary clutch cover 6 bolts (length, width, height, threads) and the driven clutch main bolt.

Thanks,
Wes

The main primary bolt is M12x1.25x157 for the 2015 and older, the 2016 is all the same except 152 for length. The chances of finding an exact match is slim to none. The bolt is most likely proprietary. But good luck, the torque is 51 lbs ft with oiled threads for the 16 team.

I installed and received my titanium primary cover bolts tonight. I did notice one potential issue though. Length and threads are the same but the new Ti bolt doesn’t have a shoulder (from the bolt head to threads) like the stock bolt. I’m figuring since the cover is pulled tight it should be fine. Just curios what other thought. It’s about 3tenths of a difference measuring the shoulders.

Thanks,
Wes

Cat never used to shoulder the bolts tight in the cover until what, 2009? They were so tight in my m1000 cover it actually stretched a bolt and twisted it off tightening the cover down before it even bottomed the bolt head. I ended up drilling the holes in that cover 1 oversize.

to the OP, are you worried at all about "galling"? i read a bit about ti bolts and it sounded like an issue. special anti seize needed ?

I did the same with an m7 primary, ended up drilling out to 8 mm, Since then I torque to 13 ft lbs on all cat 6 bolt covers.
