I have seen it done on here and on the net so i felt i could tackle it , Got er done this after noon and all i can say is wow. So much better then the stock couch and just makes the sled feel alot more sporty. I got the seat for 120 can of a 2010 assault, and i bought a small sheet of aluminum to make a seat pan for easier mounting. That was 35 and then i just scrounged some old handle bars for the front mount and the rear is stock with a 1/4 piece of cutting board that i shapped to land on the bend in the seat pan. After that i just drilled a bunch of screw holes for the seat to mount to the pan and used marine adhesive(sikiflex) to make sure she holds. I did take a heat gun the pan to shape it to fit tighter against the stock tank and then did some trimming with the grinder as well. turned out much better then i was hoping for and lastly i need to make a filler for the front out of some realy thin light plastic, just gotta find the right material.

I did the rear end of the seat but had an upholster snip the top section off the old seat cover, add foam and re-sow a new top to the old seat cover. quite an experiment lol. worked out though.

I stole the idea from a guy on here that did the summit 700 mod sled build on you tube, basically you just add spacers to steering head block to move it forward , I added an inch
