2010 800r cutting out/sputtering

First ride this year on my 2010 Summit 800r ptek. Ran fine last year now it is sputtering and cutting out almost to where the engine stalls completely. Happens when holding it wide open after 10 seconds or so but also happens other times too but it recovers quickly if I feather the throttle. Only does it intermittently. Was riding at 9-11000 ft.

What kind of storage maintenance did you do? First ride out might have something to do with fuel. I swear by a fuel stabilizer/cleaner called Seafoam. Might be worth a try. Just about any parts house carries it.

I drained as much fuel out as possible and put stabil in and ran it through. If it were a plugged jet wouldn't it run crappy a the time?

plugs?

Dont know about you but I replace my plugs every year...even if I only put on 100mi by this time!! If you havent replaced them try putting in a set of new NGK plugs.

You might try cleaning the power valves.
