No Special tool. Take the side panel off spin every other bolt out of the end cap or cover. Back each other bolt on five turns at a time going around. As you get to the end just push on the end cap with one hand and spin the bolts out with the other.
Swap spring and line up the dots. End cap dot and dot on the spider.
