I have and aero on a 700 edge. Runnin 10-12lbs boost at elevation. Didn't have enough track speed with stock gearing. Switched from a stock gearing of 19 top 38 bottom to 19 43. I have a team clutch with a dual helix. ? is: Will I have to change helix in the secondary after the re-gearing, and if so any suggestions? Any help wld be greatly appreciated.

thanks for all your help. haha! Slightly disappointed on this one. Spend the whole afternoon with a clutching dynamo. Without saying any names he is a 65 yr old physicist who loves the engineering of clutching and how to make it better. Simplified things for me to help my understanding and guided me to the root of my issue. Easy man to trust considering all he acclimations and awards from within our sport.

Thanks again,
XXX

yep thank you for the helix info. That is exactly what I am running. going to go to 18-44 gearing and purchasing thunder heavy hitter weights for tuning. Appreciate any and all help.

hey man, like doug was saying 19-43 is way to low for a turbo so 18-44 is even lower and will really cut your top end down drastically. ive got a 19-43 in my 600 and its to low even for that sled. good luck

I would help but I am in about the same spot as you.

Why were you lowering your gearing to gain track speed on a turbo? 10-12psi boost you should be pushing plenty of HP that you should be able to go up to like a 21/41 or maybe a 20/38 somewhere in there.

I have 19/43 right now but once I get some other stuff dialed in a little better I am going to change back to the stock 21/41 for my sled.
