A friend of mine has a 15 pro 163 rmk 800 with a stage 3 slp kit. It smokes like a freight train (white in color) at 1st start up.and cuts out at 7500rpm. It's never been "right" since he put it in. Changed clutching and put new fuel filter in but it seemed to run good before installing slp kit. Any info would be great

I would check o rings in head. White smoke is often antifreeze related.

Yup most likely pinched the O ring in the head or forgot to put it in. Take it apart again to check.
It's not losing antifreeze. It's going on season 3 and he said he never put antifreeze in it and it's still close to mark. Any other suggestions? I think it's unburnt fuel going on smell
Make sure your Power commander is synced to your tps.If not it will cause issues.I had to minus fuel on mine in the lower rpms.

A quick and easy check for the PCV is to just un plug it and plug the origional cable to the PCM/ECM and run it that way and see if anything changes. I have done this a couple of times while chasing gremlins.
