So I am planning on buying a new sled. My dealer has a couple left over 2016 axys 163 for a great price. Should I buy that or buy a 2017 or wait for the 2018?

We have a 16 with 1,500 trouble free miles and a 17 with 400 trouble free miles. They perform identical. Definitely would go with the 2.6 track and the 163 if you like deep snow. They are amazing sleds!

Newer is always better. Buy what you want or can afford. The newer ones always run better even if it only looks like bng. You have to decide whether it's worth it.

For $500 or less I'd buy the 17 cause that's about how much more than a 16 it will be at resale in a couple of years. Really no difference between the 2 so if you can save a bunch and have the same sled why pay more?

I would wait to see what comes out for 2018. 10 - 12 days away. If there are any significant changes the 16, 17's might even be cheaper? Depending on changes, you may want to snow check a 2018... :)

I just picked my 17 up new for $9399 + tax. Came to $10k even. So check around a bit more, not a super good price on that 16. Also funny that all the used 16s were more than my new 17 with warranty.

His prices in US would be $10,111 for the 17 or $7789 for the 16.

That is a great price, which province are you in? I paid $10800 Canadian for the KS after Tax in Alberta.
