I ride a stock 2011 M8 800H.O. with a mininum octane requirement of 91 as per Arctic Cat. Localy here in Salt Lake City we can purchase 91 octane ethanol or 88 octane non ethanol fuel. My question is would it be better to run the 91 octane ethanol with AmsOil holeshot additive or 88 octane non-ethanol with 110 octane race fuel blended in? Does anybody know how much 110 would have to be added to the 88 to make it 91? Thanks for the help I appreciate it :face-icon-small-hap

I would not run ethanol if you can. You are going to need 2 gallons of 110 with 8 of 88 to get 92 octane rating. The other consideration is Arctic Cat 91 octane rating for sea level? If so you might be able to run 88 above 8000 ft. I am just guessing here but I am pretty sure the 91 is for 0 to 3000 ft.
