Does the M800 use the same tank as the four stroke? Looks like they could increase the 800 capacity where the battery goes. But then again electric start on two strokes is getting more and more popular. Thanks for posting. I cant wait for my 50th retro M1100T.:heh:

I wonder why they wouldn't fill in that last space at the back under the seat and maybe extend it a bit more for more fuel. The pol has even more room.

Good question, just what exactly are you looking forward to?

I had to ask that over and over too , before I ordered my 1,100 T.
It's hard to put na finger on it. You could say having 40 hp more up high, you could say having the abillity to reflash another 40 and keep everything the same after the re-clutch. You could say it's nice not to add injection oil. You could say it's the electric start, but for me the test ride showed a different side of the sled that no one talks about. Let's call it inching, not iching. Inching is when you need the sled to inch arround a tree , rock, out of the trailer or shed. I took the demo sled for a few minutes and crawled around in some woods. I seen a side of sledding I never seen before. Like a trail bike, nnot a motor cross , but a trail bike. It sold me. A two stroke realy can't run like that at near idle speeds. I know I'm weird, but it also will kick butt highmarking.

I still can't frikin decide! I don't care about high marks but love the idea of blasting thru deep pow and the advantages Of high hp 4 strokes. But my buddies like to get lost in gulches and trees and I need all the manuerabilty I can get to find my out.

The M11T will be able to be a boondocking sled just have to ride it enough to get a feel for the minor differences if you can master an 07 M1000 then the M11T will be as manageable!

I would really like to believe that as I had an 07 1000 162, loved it and rode it hard in the trees, so last year I thought a nytro t 180mcx 162 would be a cinch only 30-40 lbs more and more power. But it did not workout the nytro was a pig a complete tank I sold it after 2 trips. I am nervous the 1100t will be the same it's 90 lbs more than an 8 comparing apples to apples because yes you can pull 30 lbs or more out of both it's still 470 vs 560 or 440 vs 530 and the problem is it's all over top of the skis. I am totally on the fence to the point I might wait a year. Open hill the 1100 will be a blast but trees I don't see it that extra 90 lbs will be wanting to head downhill no matter what you do.

nothing hurts waiting...will be good to let others figure things out...I will be one of the ones figuring things out :)

However, my opinion is that the Nytro had geometry things going on, not necessarily or just the weight...

Also, the weight of the M1100T is not just over the skiis, they have flattened the gas tank, moving a large amount of weight back, as well as moving the battery back...they estimate moving 65 lbs. of the weight off the front, and moving it back to the track...which is mostly via the gas...

Will be fun to learn...and fun to figure this out

Exactly.........

When I rode it, I'd say it felt heavier, but all over. Very well balanced for a fourstroke.

I see brake is below secondary. What is the oil fill spout on the chaincase? Is the oil tank integral with the chaincase? Just the whole tri-pod assy. looks like steel bars angling front to back? I bet the aftermarket will have a heyday shedding weight! Mike
