It's been a great snow year in the Brainerd area so far this year. Just received about 4" today and it's still coming down.

The snow has been killer this year. Best I have seen at home and at the cabin in a lot of years.
Another weekend at the cabin (LOW area) and the snow is insane. Only issue we ran into was a lot of the lakes and rivers have some decent slush on them. We looked like jet boats on Saturday running a local river. But the way the snow is out in the fields reminds me of being out west and carving around meadows. Truly one of the best winters in so many years!!!

Received another 8-10" last night.
We only got about 6 here at home. Back on the sled next weekend for some Northern MN playing.

Incredible riding 2 weeks ago in Northern Mn.
We were in untouched power lines, swamps and lakes.
Snow was bellybutton deep.
Got 9-10” snow last weekend. Was hoping for another great weekend this weekend. The temps and rain are saying otherwise.

With the rain last week and warm weather for the next week or so it dosen't look to promising for our snowpack.

For us back country is done. We had similar weather conditions as you.
We went last sunday and everything thing is hard. I had to run scratchers in the ditch when we went to fuel up. :face-icon-small-sho
The power lines from the picture I posted were shot and no one has been in them since us.
Found some soft parts around lakes but was heavy concrete. Not real fun in tight spots.
With this warm weather I'm getting the itch to get the bikes out and play in the mud. :face-icon-small-hap
I ordered a 2019 Polaris General today. Time to start taking at vantage of our longer seasons. LOL
We did have a killer ride last weekend at the cabin into a new zone we had never been into before. With the deep set-up snow we could any place we wanted.

Not much snow left in the Brainerd lakes area. Not much longer and the lakes and atv/ohm trails will be open.
Looks like we might get one last ride in if the weather man is correct.
