Been there, sorry bud

Broke all my toes and 4 bones in my ankle last winter. My buddy and I are wearing T-race plastic tele boots now. Lots of support, protection, super comfy warm, vibram sole, and the tab is nice for shifting. This may be the best snow biking boot available.

I'm also using the leatt dual axis, but with klim adrenaline boot. Even with that there is overlap, but I feel that is what you want. I previously wore other knee/shin guard with only two straps (calf). These guards have a third strap above the knee. Have worn them all season and so far i like them.
