I just bought my first snowmachine and I got a good deal because the PO couldn't put it back together. Because I didn't take it apart I have a few questions that I couldn't find in the FSM or on Google. The oil tank has a black rubber hose that was cut and there is also a cut black rubber hose on a pump on the triangular bracing. Does it go there? I have a clear oil feed line from the pump, where does that go, I thought it went to the tank? Where do I hook up these exhaust guillotines, is this a vacuum line? I can tell that the fuel line with the filter is the supply, but I don't see how to tell which port on the fuel rail is supply and which is return.

Clear oil line from pump goes to tank line, should be an oil filter to connect those two lines together.

The vacuum line from the exhaust valves go to the solenoid on the triangle brace. The other line (cut) goes to where ever you can place it that you dont want oil from the engine. I run mine out the left by the front shock, many run it out the bottom of the belky pan with the exhaust.

So the picture is correct? That solenoid goes to the exhaust guillotines, where does the cut piece of tube also on the solenoid go? The cut black line on the oil tank is a vent? It's on the bottom of the tank, seems weird.

The cut piece on the solenoid goes to the belly pan or out the side somewhere, it just exhausts oily air out the end.

Do you have a pic of this hose on the oil tank? I can verify tonight on my own sled to be sure. I haven't looked at this setup in a awhile.
