I have bounced around different guards on my intake for my 850 with the MPI kit. I tried the ZRP guards but they just sucked too much snow. I put on the Ski Doo OEM heavy duty filters and after spending last week in Cooke City it again had a problem with not getting enough air. Should I just go back to the factory screens or is there something else better?

Installed a Skinz Helium hood, drilled a 3" hole smack dab in the middle and ran an aluminum 45 degree elbow out through the hole and threw on BoonDocker's pre-filter kit with a 3" to 2.5" silicone adapter. Looks good but I'll probably destroy it first time riding :face-icon-small-con

Well the last time we had really deep over the hood snow I purposely tired to make mine bog, laying it over in the snow and it didn't so stock intake works good for me. A lighter hood would be nice tho. What I might do is vent the blow off back to the intake, not that I need to.
