M8 ECU

Have any you guys ever seen our heard of this? My engine will NOT turn off with the key or kill button! 2007 M8
I borrowed an ECU from a buddy's sled and now my turned of with the kill switch.
and ECU is $1500 new!! so i found a used one for sale for $400 bucks online.
I hooked it up and SAME thing it will NOT turn off;(

Please HELP!

well if your ignition switch and kill switch completes a ground to shut the engine off and they likely share the same common ground ..???..so i would look for a poor ground on that machine of yours..you will have a couple locations but check the one left of the steering post kinda under the coolant tank..
