Ok, now comes the fun part.

I was pulling the drive shaft last night and ended up stripping one of the allen head set screws that holds the speedo bearing to the shaft. The hole is now larger than the 1/8" allen but I can't get anything else to bite in the hole (larger SAE, metric or Torx). Is it going to be better to get some sort of small eazy-out, or just drill it out? I have a new bearing to go back on it (2600 miles on the 1994 sled).

Also, the front skid mount in the tunnel has 5 holes. Only the 2nd from the top is currently drilled out for the stock 121" mount. With a longer track I was wondering about dropping the skid down a little bit but the rear mount has only the one hole. Any suggestions on how these have been set-up with the 133" track of the 2-up sleds?

I just took the secondary clutch apart. Are there any options for changing helix on these things? I had a button clutch helix out of my '99 700 and there is no way. This 340 uses a relatively large diameter helix, double taper ramps and it is internally splined. I may be stuck with what I have. From what I remember, I may have to put more tension on the spring to help it backshift to accommodate the bigger track.

Suggestions?

I'm waiting on a 41 tooth gear and some clutch springs then this will be ready to ride. I'm hoping 16:41 and a 70# jockey that this sled floats ok now.

got the 91 indy lite done, running and the kids are loving it!
my youngest (who's sled this is) is afraid of it right now....its not like the 120 where she can just peg it

as you can see, it has 04 RMK ski's, a seat cover and thats it...LOL
runs pretty damn strong for such alittle motor.....I had it doing about 70 on the road (not really sure...needs a new speedo cable)
had 12" of snow in the yard until the kids packed it all down for me

Nice.

We don't have enough snow to ride yet, but the kid needs new boots and a new helmet. Darn kids just keep growing out of everything but the kitchen.

I didn't get any action photos of mine.

The 16:41 gearing pulled the 136 x 1.25 track did better than I thought it would. We had close to knee deep powder on top of a base and I could run it around real well. Had to motor the kid around some and had about 300# worth of riders and it did extremely well.
