I would think 10,000 RMK 850's would be a high number?

Asked my dealer in Ut a few days ago and he said they had 72 rmk 850 snowchecks. It was a lot more than I would have guessed.

There is around 120,000 sleds sold each year from 4 manufactures. Roughly 45,000 from Polaris, 10k models of it being their new flagship 850 seems reasonable to me. "Number I seen was actually between 97-9800"

I talked to a dealer the other day who said they have been getting calls from all over the country from people looking for an 850. Looks like Polaris was successful in applying a major marketing principle - create scarcity. : )

I hope this is the case we won't be taking a big hit on resale for a 2020 Polaris. I'm all for snowchecking only for lasted a greatest no more blowout carryovers that are 2 years old.

I think we were told 8600 850's when I was at Haydays speaking with one of the Polaris employees.

That it was substantially higher than years past.

The dealers I've spoken with reported very robust snowcheck numbers.
Quite a bit above normal.

That's interesting because the dealers all had their allotments on 850's, which were limited and that's all they got. Our dealer here had 15 allotted 850 snowchecks and they were all TKO but in years past they have snowchecked well above that number and had better years. Obviously most guys "probably" snowchecked 850's, so with limited builds, how can snowcheck and production numbers be high ?? Then add in the amount of 18 holdovers, it just seems odd.

Not arguing or discrediting, it just seems counterintuitive with previous information we have received??
